Chef Allen LaPelle is a proud graduate of Corinth Central High School, Class of 2005. Shortly after graduation, he enlisted in the United States Air Force, where he discovered his passion for the culinary arts during his six years of service. Witnessing the challenges faced by veterans, particularly the impact of PTSD, inspired Allen to dedicate his life to improving the lives of veterans and their families through food. With a mission to give back, Allen founded Vested Veteran Catering, a catering business dedicated to supporting veterans in need. His culinary journey continued with formal education through BOCES and The Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, where he trained under some of the most respected chefs in the nation. Following an enriching externship in New Orleans, Allen returned to his hometown, armed with the skills and confidence to open his own restaurant. In Corinth, NY, he established Vested Veteran Grill, a restaurant that embodies his commitment to giving back to veterans and the local community. Chef Allen's culinary creations are not just about great food—they reflect his passion for service, healing, and community support.
